Time Out Market Is Coming to Union Square

Dumbo helped set the tone for Union Square
A new Time Out Market is coming to Union Square, bringing a curated selection of NYC’s best food and culture.
Located in the Zero Irving building, this 10,000-square-foot food hall will feature seven kitchens, a bar, a performance stage, communal seating, and a 70-seat outdoor terrace.
The market will spotlight local and emerging culinary talents, continuing Time Out’s tradition of featuring some of the city’s most exciting food vendors.
The space replaces the existing Urbanspace food hall, which will close for updates before Time Out Market’s Fall 2025 opening.
With Union Square’s thriving food scene and Greenmarket nearby, this new addition will bring even more dining options to the heart of Manhattan.
Las Vegas Icon Golden Steer Is Bringing Old-School Glamour to NYC

Golden Steer coming to NYC soon
One of Las Vegas’ most legendary steakhouses is making its way to Manhattan.
Golden Steer, the iconic Vegas institution famous for hosting the Rat Pack and other celebrities, will open its first New York location in Fall 2025.
The new outpost will be located at One Fifth Avenue in Greenwich Village, bringing with it the same retro charm, red leather booths, and tableside service that made the original a classic.
Expect dry-aged steaks, seafood towers, and signature Caesar salads prepared tableside—all served with a touch of old-school hospitality.
Golden Steer’s original Las Vegas location, which opened in 1958, built its reputation on timeless steakhouse fare and a glamorous, vintage atmosphere.
The NYC menu will mirror the Vegas classic, featuring signature dishes like Oysters Rockefeller and the $275 Tomahawk steak.
This expansion marks Golden Steer’s first move outside of Las Vegas, a sign of confidence in New York’s appetite for upscale nostalgia.
With steakhouses making a comeback across the city, Golden Steer’s arrival is perfectly timed.
For New Yorkers craving a taste of Vegas history without the flight, this might be your next big reservation.
Would You Pay $100 for NYC’s Most Luxe Egg Dish?

A New York classic opened in 1837, serving prime beef in old-time environs.
56 Beaver St, New York, NY 10004
New York City’s dining scene has a new over-the-top indulgence, and this time, it’s all about eggs.
Delmonico’s, the historic steakhouse, has introduced the Royal Eggs Benedict, a lavish twist on the brunch classic, priced at $52.
This upscale version features butter-poached lobster, Ossetra caviar, and black truffle, all served atop house-made sourdough brioche.
It’s part of a growing trend of NYC restaurants elevating egg-based dishes amid rising egg prices, with some spots charging upwards of $120 for high-end variations.
While some see it as a worthy splurge for luxury brunch lovers, others question whether even the fanciest Eggs Benedict is worth the premium price.
Either way, it’s yet another example of fine dining blending indulgence with viral appeal—because nothing gets people talking like a golden, caviar-topped egg.

Historic Roosevelt Hotel Could Sell for $1 Billion

45th & Madison Ave
One of New York City’s most storied hotels is back in the spotlight — and could soon fetch a staggering $1 billion price tag.
The Roosevelt Hotel, owned by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), is being prepared for sale after serving as a temporary migrant shelter.
With NYC planning to relocate migrants by June, the iconic Midtown property is expected to hit the market this spring.
The nearly century-old hotel, known for its grand architecture and historic significance, has been closed to regular guests since the pandemic.
Its recent use as emergency housing added another chapter to its long and complex history.
Now, investors and developers are eyeing the prime property, drawn to its location near Grand Central Terminal.
The site’s 42,000-square-foot footprint could allow for a skyscraper up to 1.8 million square feet, depending on city and MTA approvals.
Potential buyers could transform the Roosevelt into luxury condos, a high-end hotel, or a massive mixed-use development.
However, any redevelopment would likely take 3–5 years, requiring negotiations with labor unions and securing key tenants.
With its historic charm, prime location, and massive redevelopment potential, the Roosevelt Hotel is shaping up to be one of NYC’s most valuable real estate deals in years.
NYC Restaurant Celebrates Women’s History Month with a Special Menu

Sei Less special menu through the end of March
One New York City restaurant is honoring Women’s History Month with a star-studded menu.
Sei Less, a popular Asian fusion spot in Midtown Manhattan, has launched a $50 prix-fixe menu inspired by influential women in music, entertainment, and media.
Available throughout March, the menu features dishes named after celebrities like Cardi B, Ice Spice, Lil' Kim, Angie Martinez, Teyana Taylor, and Naturi Naughton.
Highlights include “The Cardi B Lobster Spoons” and “The Lil’ Kim Dark Chocolate Mousse”, designed to reflect their bold styles and cultural impact.
Sei Less founder Dara Mirjahangiry sees this menu as a tribute to these women’s influence and a way to celebrate their success in a unique, flavorful way.
For diners looking to enjoy great food with a side of pop culture appreciation, this special menu offers a tasty way to celebrate Women’s History Month.
